She didn't leave. Bookrix cut down on the staff and Rebecca and Lineh were among them.
working with kids is great, they give you so much, tiring but rewarding.
our nurseries take kids 3yrs and 4 yrs- do German ones do the same or are they older? at three and four children are in a magical world where they do not see boundaries between things ; this is the best age... Show more
sorry you've left you were kind and responsive. Bookrix have just told me everything has to be 2500 words long which i can do , but many short stories are just that, short. tried also to get them to have a category Folklore, as story telling is very popular now. They also wanted capitals for first two letters of my name- feels like old fashioned publishing creeping in.

You're going to The Vancouver Writers Fest?
No - I wish! I'm going home to Ontario (around the Toronto area) for a visit with my family and one of my brothers is getting married. I haven't been home in a year and a half!
Ah ok. Pity though, since you're going to be there, but family comes first. Especially if someone is getting married. The couple needs to be the priority.
Also, flying to Vancouver is about 6 hours - so it's not really close by! Canada is too big! ;)
We travel from one side of the island to the other in an hour or less if there's no traffic :(. Ah well, there will be more writers fests around.

It's a gif - I just googled "sky gifs" and then found some on tumblr that I liked :) Then you can just upload them like a normal photo.

Well, that's a HUGE loss for the BookRix community and I hope this wasn't an unwanted shock. If you ever need a few thousand stellar, glowing references I'm sure we can all whip something up for you.
